about me and my creations

My passion for arcade games began when I was very young. My first memory is with my grandfather Alejandro, sometimes he would go down to the bar near his house in Madrid, and there he would give me some coins to play Out Run. I also remember that in the cafeteria at my school they installed two machines, and my classmates and I discovered games like Bank Panic, Kung Fu Master or Rastan. In the video store and the bar on my street they also installed machines with Centipede, Salamander or Side Arms.
But my most precious memory is with my father, some Sunday afternoons he took me to visit some arcades in Valencia, and also when we traveled to Madrid, and with him I discovered games like Cobra Command, Rampage, Galaxy Force, Willow, Arch Rivals, 1942 or Green Beret.
As I grew up and went from being a child to a teenager, I began to accompany friends of my age to go to the arcades that were successful in Valencia, my city. We would take long walks to places with new games, and we would spend whole afternoons playing wonders like Sengoku, the Street Fighter saga, Final Fight, Daytona USA, Tekken…
When I became an adult, many of the arcades were closing down because the ways of entertainment changed, but I was able to continue enjoying many games since the video consoles and computers of that time were already starting to be powerful enough to carry or emulate classic and modern arcade games.
When I was 38 years old, I had to leave my profession forever due to a serious health problem. Fortunately, I am better today, but I have a lot of free time. In order not to get bored, I started collecting original arcade game circuits, JAMMA boards and cartridges for Neo Geo MVS and Capcom CPS2 bases. I also got some arcade cabinets and CRT monitors to play the games, joysticks… and in that process I had to start learning how to repair and restore things, and I started to like it so much that I started to make my own devices to play from scratch. As a result of all this, I now make handcrafted arcade controls of an enviable high quality, small mini bartops with a 10-inch screen that pay homage to the famous Sega Astro City, and I also have fun creating mini consoles based on SOCS like Raspberry Pi.
Although I don’t consider myself a professional, many amateurs and professionals have recognized the beauty and quality of my projects. Normally everything I make is usually for myself or for friends and family, although occasionally I make some extra units and put them up for sale through eBay or Etsy. I don’t usually accept commissions, and I don’t give deadlines on when I’ll finish something, and I don’t decide a fixed price for each thing I make because I don’t make two exactly the same.
If you like my creations, check my online stores from time to time or contact me by email to find out if I have any unannounced units in stores, but I repeat, I don’t accept commissions.

THE BEST MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS
I always work with top brands such as Industrias Lorenzo, Sanwa, Seimitsu or Brook.
Hand-crafted materials
I use wood, iron or aluminium that I sand, putty, paint, polish and varnish myself. I use professional acrylic paints from Montana, and acrylic and two-component varnishes from both Edding and Montana.
also 3d Printing technology
I regularly use 3D printing, but not just any old way. I prefer to use PETG as the printing plastic because of its strength. I don’t use home printers, I prefer to order the parts from companies with industrial technology as they offer greater precision and better finishes, and then I post-process all the parts by hand so that they have a smooth finish that is pleasant to the touch.
